FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
How does the leaderboard work? The leaderboard groups you with candidates appearing for the same CFA level and exam sitting as you. Your percentile is calculated weekly based on hours studied, syllabus coverage and average mastery rating. It resets every Monday.
How is my Readiness Index calculated? Readiness Index = (Hours studied ÷ weekly target × 40%)
Can I switch CFA levels? Yes — go to Settings and select your new level. Note that switching levels will reset your subject progress tracking.
Can Level III candidates switch pathways? Yes — go to Settings and select a new pathway. Your session logs and calendar data are kept but LOS progress will reset for the new pathway.
How do I log a study session? Use any of the four timer modes (Pie, Clock, Pomodoro, Countdown) and a session save sheet appears when you finish. You can also log sessions manually from the Calendar screen using the + Log Hours button.
My data isn't syncing — what do I do? Check your internet connection. Chartered queues your data locally when offline and syncs automatically when connection is restored.
How do I delete my account? Email us at [email protected] with the subject line "Delete My Account" and we will permanently delete all your data within 7 days.
